Leon Jansen (Manager Marketing) en Esther Oostrom (Manager Communicatie & Content) van Aegon vertellen je hoe zij marketeers helpen met het ‘marketing functiehuis’ om zich te blijven ontwikkelen in de sterk veranderende context.

    Esther Oostrom SMP/SCP

    Manager Communicatie & Content - Aegon

    Esther Oostrom MCC/SMP/SCP is a very experienced and allround brand, marketing and communications professional who has spent over 15 years at Aegon working in different positions. Esther started her career at the University of Maastricht after graduating International Business Studies in 1999. Her personal interest for innovations inspired her to write a thesis about the possibilities of Internet marketing. In November 2014 she graduated the Executive Master of Science in Corporate Communications at the RSM with the thesis: 'Gamification: the engagement game' which was rewarded with the Andreas Award for Innovation. In 2000 Esther started working at Aegon the Netherlands as a marketeer and was responsible for the development and marketing of online savings and investment products. In 2005 she started working at the department of Communications as an advertising manager for the Aegon brand where she was responsible for the development of all mass media branding-and direct marketing campaigns. The campaign 'De Wil van Dave Deutch' was rewarded with a Silver Esprix in 2007. In 2015 she became Head of the Brand & Media team (6fte) in the Central Communications department where she's responsible for branding, sponsoring, employer branding and marketing communications. At Aegon she developed Speeljetoekomst.nu in 2012. This innovative platform uses Gamification to motivate people to learn about their financial futures and was rewarded with two Red Dot awards: a Best of Best in interaction design and the Grand Prix in communication design! Esther enjoys working at Aegon because of its dynamism, culture of possibilities, strive for innovation and its relevant purpose to enable people to take responsibility for their own financial futures.
