Debbie Clewes

Debbie Clewes works with both the education and training divisions of The Chartered Institute of Marketing.  Debbie is the Lead Course Director for Strategic Marketing on the Diploma in Marketing and Lead Course Director for Managing Corporate Reputation on the PG Diploma in Marketing for The CIM Academy at Moor Hall.  This involves both face-to-face and virtual on-line classes and support.  As a Training Director, she runs one-day workshops on Strategic Marketing, Marketing Planning, Brand Management and New-Product Development.  Debbie also runs longer in-company programmes for the CIM and her own company working with various organizations including Rolls Royce, John Lewis, Oxford Instruments, McCains, Sony Ericsson, ICRC, British Heart Foundation and Rackspace.  She was also an external examiner on the Strategic Marketing Management:  Analysis & Decision paper and was the Senior Examiner on the Marketing Operations paper for six years.

Previously, Debbie has been a Senior Lecturer in Marketing at Northampton and Nottingham Business Schools where she was Course Leader for both the MSc Marketing Management and the in-company Bass Brewers DMS.  She currently delivers modules on Brand Management and Campaign Planning. She graduated from Nottingham with a First in Business Studies, having been sponsored by Kodak Limited for her degree.  She then worked for Kodak in the Consumer Products Division in marketing and sales during which time she passed her Diploma in Marketing.  Subsequently her research degree focused on service quality and Debbie has published a number of articles and revision texts.
