Marketing & Communications Director,  IBM Europe

Since February 2015, Ronald (1974) is Marketing & Communications Director at IBM responsible for developing and implementing the business and marketing strategy for IBM Global Technology Services across Europe. Before this role he held different local and international marketing leadership roles at IBM of which most recently the European Marketing & Communications Director role for the Managed- and Cloud Services Providers Segment.

In all his roles and projects marketing transformation, performance improvement and digital innovation have been at the core of the challenges to be accomplished. Based upon his experience and clear and sometimes controversial vision he speaks often at internal and external events on topics like marketing transformation, sales and marketing alignment, marketing performance and social media.

In addition to his work for IBM, he is co-founder of the CMO-network ‘Marketing Transformation Forum’, board member of the Esprix, bard and was till recently co-founder and board member of the B2B Expertise platform of the Dutch marketing association (NIMA). He is is characterized as high-energy and severe coffee- and running addict.
